Note: Presence throughout the seminar is mandatory

The seminar aims to provide students with a basic understanding of the circular economy concept and its contributions to sustainable development. In particular, the seminar group will look at management strategies with a view of implementing circular economy practices and will explore actor perspectives on different levels. Furthermore, the students will analyze products and processes through a circular lense in order to learn benefits, challenges and lessons learned from these real-life examples.

In this context, we will get an overview of the 17 SDGs and the Agenda 2030 for a sustainable world and focus on SDGs 9 and 12 as well as 17 in particular.
